Roofs are poorly understood and rarely monitored. However, today’s regulatory requirements for decarbonising buildings (SNBC, tertiary decree, CSRD, etc.) demand reliable data.
Managers, tenants, and building occupants all need to closely visualise, prioritise, and track their thermal performance in response to these new requirements.
KYTEOS is the answer to this threefold requirement: technical, regulatory, and strategic.
Our Innovation branch focuses primarily on roof mapping, thermal scoring, and prioritising interventions.
KYTEOS uses satellite imagery to create accurate thermal maps of roofs, identify urban heat islands, and assess deterioration.
This initial analysis provides a thermal score and impact values that can be used with material resistance data to prioritise interventions and inform initial decisions.
Monitoring is carried out over time as closely as possible to the field: temperature, performance, wear and tear, etc.
In addition, your impact data can be integrated into your ESG reporting (as part of the CSRD, for example).
After screening, KYTEOS deploys instrumented monitoring based on probes and continuous data collection: surface temperatures, energy performance, membrane ageing, and HVAC equipment efficiency.
This monitoring feeds the platform in real time and generates data visualisation that is useful to operators and auditors.
The data can be integrated into ESG and CSRD reporting, enhancing the asset value and regulatory compliance of the assets being monitored.
Thanks to real-time monitoring, Kyteos enables alerts to be triggered and actions to be taken.
Thanks to its smart thresholds, KYTEOS triggers alerts when a deviation in a key indicator is detected: reflectivity index, cleanliness of photovoltaic panels, vegetation quality.
As a result, customers can manage Opex work by monitoring their indicators, or be alerted by the KYTEOS platform’s technical service about abnormal values, and take appropriate action.
